    We came across the idea for a Medieval Party Theme. They are so fun for a kids party! There are so many ways to get creative with this theme between, costumes, invitations, table settings, food etc.

    The invitation: Make a scroll invitation like they used back in medieval times. You can start by saying “You are cordially invited to the birthday celebration of Sir —–.” Use medieval phrases and old script.

    Costumes: Make it a costume party, there are tons of medieval costumes for kids out there. You could provide the props like fake swords, hats, etc.

    Table Settings and Food: Look up ideas online for inspiration on how to set the table for your party. Peasant style table setting usual included wooden bowls and platters.

    Entertainment: You could hire entertainment for the party to enhance the party theme! Have people there juggling or performing other types of medieval entertainment. You can also set up a castle for the kids to play in.
